Hey There! I’m Al Isaacs.
I am a writer, drummer, and comedian who was twice named “Long Island's Best Comedian” by the Long Island Press. Beyond performing, I also taught the art of improv comedy at schools, comedy clubs, corporate workshops, and at Hofstra University. I've been married for 30 years to my wife Theresa and I'm the proud father of our son, Nick. After I turned 50, I found out I was adopted, and wrote a book about that, the search for my birth mother, and the incredible journey along the way! I spent a few years as a sought after pro wrestling journalist with a daily column in the late nineties on the most popular wrestling website in the world, SCOOPS, which led to a web-based comic strip, Smarks, that eventually became an unproduced animated cartoon called Slamm’d, based on all of the really cool backstage true stories that were told to me.
